OPCAN’s Clean Energy Open Houses returns on Oct 4!

OPCAN’s Clean Energy Open Houses returns!

See what your Oak Park neighbors are doing to power their homes cleaner, safer, cheaper, and greener. Two fully electrified vintage Oak Park homes featured on our 2025 CEOH will be open again on Sunday, October 4, from 2 to 4pm.

Check out heat pump HVAC and hot water systems, induction stoves, solar arrays, and more. Homeowners and contractors will be on hand to share their experience and answer your questions:

How can I afford this? Projects have ranged from gradual retrofits to gut rehabs: see examples of both. Learn from homeowners about the state and local rebates and incentives they’ve used to save money—AND the savings they’re now enjoying.

What will my utility bills look like? Our homeowners will share their utility bills to give you a sense of how long it will take to get your investment back.

Who can I trust to do the work? Ask homeowners about the contractors they’ve had good experiences with.

Visit 2 different houses open on Sunday, October 4, from 2 to 4pm

This event is free but registration is required. REGISTER HERE.
